I agree with loving Dave Barnes, but his live performance wasn’t that great in my book. It lacked personality and interaction with the audience. Better luck next to Mr. David Barnes…haha
I think he did less with audience interaction in the performance you saw because it was in Chicago and he was opening for somebody really big, and most people (except us, of course), didn’t give a hoot who in the heck he was. They just wanted to hear… who was it… Bonnie Raitt? When Davieboy is in a smaller setting, or even a larger one for that matter, with an audience who came to see HIM, he is much more personable and fun to watch. Yup yup.
