Life / New Year's Resolution / Vow of Trying New Things

New year, new (and recycled) resolutions!

Somehow, somewhere, the calendar changed from 2015 to 2016. If you blinked like I did, you’re likely in shock at how quickly 2015 flew by. Last year was a pretty great one, aside from a couple of things. I was able to visit London, Paris, Strasbourg, and Palm Springs; I spent plenty of time with family and friends, and things went well at work. I really can’t complain about too many things and for that I’m thankful.

That said, a new year is upon us which means it’s time for some resolutions. Last year, I set out to try one new thing each month. In fact, I called it a vow of trying new things. I’d like to think I did that for the most part, but I didn’t document it well enough here for me to feel content. (Upon further review, I only documented through March. That’s awful!) For that reason, I’m taking on last year’s resolution and trying it again. Recycling it, if you will.

While I have a few more resolutions, the other main one I want to make mention of here, on my blog, is that I resolve to blog once per week. I know what you’re thinking. You’ve heard this before. I’ve torn your heart out and stomped on it in resolutions past. I don’t blame you for having your doubts. I had them, too, but I can assure you that 2016 will be different. I’m a gal with a plan this time around. The good news is I can’t sugarcoat a slight failure into a success, thanks to the archives. Wish me luck!

I hope you all had a wonderful 2015 and have an even better 2016. What are some of your resolutions for this year?
