A fashion loving, trend-setter has submitted a fashion article.  Read on to hear Kate explain how fashion across the world differs just as much as various cultures do.

Fashion is pretty much my main interest, and I can’t help but notice the vast international differences.  It’s ever changing, but has so many different paces that it’s darn near impossible to keep up with all of them.  I don’t know if you’ve ever stopped to take even the slightest glance at the fashion empire that is blooming around you, but for those of you who have, I’m sure you’ve noticed that every individual city has its own clothing genre.  It’s insane, but I love it! Each different style defines where we live, and gives fashion a unique sense of culture.

Take a look at London, England.  While we keep going back in time and modifying our styles in fashion, London always seems to  move into the future with their style.  They hardly bring back styles that were once thought to be dead.  They’re edgy and very robotic like, almost like a punk rock theme with a futuristic twist.

Now for the city of lights.  Paris has a more wispy style. While they might be mimicking the same time era that fashion in the United States does, I would say theyfocus on being more timeless than cool. Kind of like, “I know I’ve been there, but this is so fresh that it’s practically redefined itself.”

New York City and Chicago like to keep things classy and chic. These two cities are afraid to escape the classic fashions from the past, but are still willing to tweak the styles to keep them hip for the present.  N.Y.C and Chi-town know how to be sophisticated without losing their cool.

Milan is very elegant in that way they handle their different styles in fashion. They’re very independent in fashion, which is only right seeing as though they hold the title of being the fashion capital of the world. I would categorize Milan as unique and breathtaking. This city’s sense of fashion speaks for itself with vibrant colors and its endless yet everlasting style.  Milan has delightfully earned its way to the top of our fashion empire.

Just a handful a of cities, and look at how different they are from each other. I’m sure there are many more out there, but I just listed a few of the top cities.  Styles of fashion are constantly taking different routes all over the world, and are racing to keep up with each other.
