Nothing like a solid, trippy song to start off the week. Today, I wasn’t only introduced to a new song; I was introduced to an entirely new genre: electroswing. Would I normally listen to this type of thing at work? Probably not. Too distracting. Makes me want to dance. How about on a Monday? Nooo wayyyy, but today is different – I’m actually not sleep deprived. The only downside to Caravan Palace’s “Jolie Coquine” is that it makes sitting still pretty difficult. The song also makes me want to time travel or go to Portillo’s with hopes of hearing a swing-style song like this one.

Anyone feel like taking swing lessons?!
