Well well well, now that it’s July I see the weather has finally shaped up and started acting like it. (I know, welcome to Chicago.) While summer comes packed with multiple things, particularly for a winter-hater such as myself, one of the best things about summer is country music. Sure, you can listen to it in the bleek, frigid days January delivers, but something about hearing singing “barefoot blue jean night” while wearing a hat, scarf, parka and snuggie just seems oxymoronic.
In the true spirit of summer and all that it brings, a fellow belieber sent Jake Owen’s “Barefoot Blue Jean Night” my way. The result? A full day of Pandora’s country station and a feeling of yearning for the weekend. Perfect for a Friday afternoon. And just for fun, I dare you not to smile and fully embrace summer while listening to this song. No wait, make that a double dog dare.
Hehehe, SOOOO glad my suggestion made the cut!!!!! Love love love this sonngggggg.
